Cabang olahraga (cabor) Taekwondo Kota Tangerang menorehkan prestasi membanggakan di Pekan Olahraga Provinsi (Porprov) Banten  VI 2022.

Pada cabor ini, kontingen dari Kota Tangerang sukses menyabet 3 medali di kelas Poomsae (rangkaian jurus) dan 5 medali kelas kyorugi.

Pelatih Utama Taekwondo Kota Tangerang, Sabeumnim Sofiyan menerangkan, dari 5 kelas Poomsae yang dilombakan, kontingen Kota Tangerang berhasil mendapatkan 3 emas, 1 perak di hari pertama.

Semetara di hari kedua di kelas kyorugi kontingen Kota Tangerang berhasil meyabet 4 emas 2 perak dan 1 perunggu jadi total perolehan medali sampai hari ke 2 sebanyak 7 emas . Pelatih utama Sabeum nim Sofiyan menyampaikan bahwa di hari kedua Kontingen Kota Tangerang mentargetkan 5 medali emas
