Akibat banjir yang begitu ekstrim dan menggenangi beberapa kawasan di tangerang dan sekitarnya menyebabkan jembatan Cihuni yang menghubungkan antara gading serpong dan rumah sakit assobirin di tutup. Hal ini di lakukan karena jembatan ini mengalami kerusakan sampai amblas sehingga untuk menghindari sesuatu yang tidak di inginkan akhirhya pihak terkait  dalam hal ini kepolisian menutup sementara sampai perbaikan di lakukan. dan selanjutnya arus lalulitas di laihkan ke jalan alternatif yang sudah di siapkan.

Penutupan ini di berlakukan untuk kendaraan yang beroda empat yang di nilai memiliki beban berat. Bgi masyarakat dari serpong yang akan menuju serpong maka pengendara di alihkan melalui jalur Boulevard Gading Serpong. dan begitu juga untuk warga masyarakat yang ingin menuju Jalan Sinarmas itu masih banyak jalan lain diantaranya melalui jalan Boulevard BSD Utama juga masih bisa. Lalu Blulevard BSD Utara, masih bisa di lalui sehingga banyak jalan alternatif meskipun akan lebih jauh tentunya.
