Tangerang – 24 Agustus 2025. 1000 taekwondoin dari berbagai klub di bawah naungan Pengurus Kabupaten (Pengkab) Taekwondo Indonesia Kabupaten Tangerang mengikuti Ujian Kenaikan Tingkat (UKT) Periode 2 Tahun 2025, yang digelar di GOR Kitri Bhakti, Curug, Kabupaten Tangerang.
Kegiatan ini merupakan agenda rutin tahunan yang diselenggarakan oleh Pengkab TI Kabupaten Tangerang untuk menilai dan meningkatkan kemampuan para atlet dari tingkat sabuk putih hingga sabuk merah. Para peserta berasal dari lebih dari 30 dojang yang tersebar di wilayah Kabupaten Tangerang.
Meningkatkan Kualitas dan Disiplin Taekwondoin
Ketua Panitia UKT Periode 2/2025, Sbmnim Tarkim, menjelaskan bahwa UKT kali ini tidak hanya menilai aspek teknik seperti tendangan, jurus (poomsae), dan sparring (kyorugi), tetapi juga menekankan nilai-nilai kedisiplinan, semangat, serta sportivitas dalam bela diri taekwondo.
“Ujian ini bukan sekadar penilaian fisik, tetapi juga pembentukan mental, karakter, dan jiwa sportivitas para atlet muda. Mereka diajarkan untuk menghargai proses dan menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai taekwondo,” ujarnya.
Dihadiri Tokoh-Tokoh Penting
UKT ini juga dihadiri oleh Ketua Umum PBTI Kab, Tangerang, Ketua KONI Kabupaten Tangerang, Dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga, serta Master dan Instruktur Sabuk Hitam dari Pengprov TI Banten. Ujian dilaksanakan selama satu hari penuh, dengan pengujian yang dibagi berdasarkan tingkatan sabuk.
“Melalui kegiatan ini, kami berharap dapat melahirkan atlet-atlet taekwondo yang tidak hanya unggul secara teknik, tapi juga memiliki integritas dan semangat juang tinggi,” ujar Sbmnim Rohman , Ketua Umum Pengkab TI Kabupaten Tangerang.
Dukungan Orang Tua dan Antusiasme Peserta
Kegiatan UKT ini turut mendapat dukungan penuh dari para orang tua dan wali murid yang hadir untuk menyemangati anak-anak mereka. Terlihat antusiasme dan semangat tinggi dari para peserta yang telah berlatih selama berbulan-bulan demi mencapai tingkatan berikutnya.

Dengan terselenggaranya UKT ini, Pengkab TI Kabupaten Tangerang berharap dapat terus membina atlet-atlet berprestasi yang nantinya dapat mewakili kabupaten, provinsi, bahkan nasional dalam berbagai kejuaraan taekwondo.
