Pada hari Jumat, 26 April 2019.Sungai cisadane meluap dan akibat dari meluapnya sungai tersebut maka dua pintu air yang ada di sungai tersebut dibuka. dibukanya kedua bendungan tersebut disebabkan oleh kondisi debit air di Sungai Cisadane mengalami kenaikan dan berada pada posisi siaga satu. Hal ini dikarenakan oleh tingginya curah hujan yang terjadi di Bogor dan Tangerang.

akibat Curah hujan nya sangat tinggi, dan air dari bendungan Batu Belah akhirnya  dibuka, dan berakibat  Kota Tangerang berada pada kondisi siaga satu,” tutur Walikota Tangerang, Arief R Wismansyah pada saat berkomunikasi dengan penjaga Bendungan Irigasi Pintu 10 pagi

Orang nomor satu di Kota Tangerang tersebut  juga menanyakan kondisi saat ini kepada penjaga bendungan. “Sekarang posisinya berada diketinggian berapa?,” tanya Arief kepada penjaga bendungan.Dan akibat dari luapan tersebut beberapa desa di kecamatan yang ada di sekitar bantaran kali cisadane terendam hingga setinggi kurang lebih 2 meter.Akibat dari luapan ini juga akhirnya lalu lintas menjadi terhambat karena jalur yang seharusnya di lalui kendaraan menjadi di alihkan karena terlalu tinggi untuk di lewati .seperti di jalan imam bonjol yang akan menuju karawaci.

Menurutnya restoran keluarga Istana Nelayan yang memang keberadaanyadi pinggir Sungai Cisadane yang terlihat atapnya saja.” Biasanya memang kalau banjir restoran itu ikut kena, tapi ini lebih parah dari biasanya, dan atapnya aja yang terlihat jelas dari jalan tolm menurutnya lagi.

Disamping itu, dengan adanya tinggi volume air di aliran sungai cisadane, terdapat beberapa lokasi yang tergenang, diantaranya adalah Jalan Kali Pasir, Kelurahan Babakan, Kecamatan Tangerang, restoran Istana Nelayan di kawasan Kebon Nanas, dan kawasan Kelurahan Panunggangan Barat, Kecamatan Cibodas, Kota Tangerang. akibat dari meluapnya aliran air Sungai Cisadane juga mengakibatkan kemacetan yang cukup parah seperti di Jalan MH Thamrin.

Sementara Jembatan Cisadane 1 dekat PDAM Cikokol macet hebat akibat ada mobil tangki tercebur di kali Cisadana arah hulu jembatan tsb. Selanjutnya  tangki tsb hanyut terbawa arus sungai dan menghantam kaki2 jembatan tsb dan merusak jaringan PLN
