Tangerang, 29 Januari 2025, Musyawarah Kota (Muskot) Taekwondo Kota Tangerang berlangsung dengan lancar bertempat di Restoran Remeja Kuring jl.gatot subroto kota tangerang. Acara yang penuh makna ini menjadi momentum penting dalam dunia Taekwondo di Kota Tangerang, di mana hari ini terjadi pergantian Ketua Umum Taekwondo Kota Tangerang.
Sabeum Nim Edy Suyanto SE.MM, yang telah memimpin Taekwondo Kota Tangerang periode 2020-2024 secara resmi menyerahkan jabatan Ketua Umum kepada Bpk Roy Marjuk yang terpilih secara aklamasi. Roy Marjuk menjadi satu-satunya calon yang diajukan untuk menggantikan Edi Suyanto dan mendapatkan dukungan penuh dari 27 klub taekwondo yang hadir, dari total 31 klub yang ada di kota Tangerang. Ini menunjukkan kesepakatan yang solid di antara komunitas taekwondo Kota Tangerang untuk mendukung kepemimpinan baru.
Acara ini juga dihadiri oleh sejumlah tamu penting, termasuk pengurus lama Taekwondo Kota Tangerang, Ketua Umum KONI Kota Tangerang, H. Dirman, serta Ketua Harian Taekwondo Provinsi Banten, Sabeumnim Viva Zabreno, bersama pengurus lainnya. Kehadiran mereka memberikan dukungan moral dan penghargaan atas keberhasilan Taekwondo di Kota Tangerang, serta menunjukkan sinergi yang baik antara Taekwondo Kota Tangerang dengan KONI dan pengurus Taekwondo provinsi.
Ketua umum koni H. Dirman menyambut baik hasıl muskot dan beliau menyampaikan bahwa Roy adalah sosok yang tepat untuk menduduki sebagai ketua umum Taekwondo Kota Tangerang.
‘Hari ini adalah hari yang sangat bersejarah bagi dunia Taekwondo di Kota Tangerang, karena kita menyaksikan proses pergantian kepemimpinan yang akan membawa semangat baru dan harapan besar bagi masa depan taekwondo di kota Tangerang dan alhamdulillah pemilihan telah di laksanakan secara aklamasi dan berjalan lacar,dan saya yakin beliau memiliki kemampuan organisasi yang baik karena saya sudah kenal lama dan pastinya akan siap memajukan Taekwondo Di Kota Tangerang,tuturnya.
Dalam sambutannya, Roy Marjuk menegaskan komitmennya untuk membawa perubahan positif di Taekwondo Kota Tangerang. Ia berfokus pada pengembangan atlet-atlet muda, memperkuat struktur organisasi, dan meningkatkan kerja sama antara klub-klub taekwondo yang ada. Roy berharap dapat melanjutkan kerja keras yang telah dilakukan oleh pengurus lama, sekaligus akan berusaha membuat inovasi yang dapat mendongkrak prestasi dan kualitas taekwondo di kota Tangerang.
Edy Suyanto, dalam pidato perpisahannya, menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih kepada seluruh klub dan pengurus yang telah mendukungnya selama masa kepemimpinannya. Ia berharap agar kepemimpinan baru dapat melanjutkan dan mengembangkan Taekwondo di Tangerang menuju arah yang lebih baik.
Dengan adanya pergantian kepemimpinan ini, diharapkan Taekwondo Kota Tangerang dapat semakin berkembang, mencetak atlet-atlet berprestasi, serta menjalin hubungan yang lebih harmonis antar klub dan pengurus.
