    • SD hingga SMA di Pati — lulus SMA Negeri 1 Pati tahun 1988.

    • Sarjana (S1) Teknik Sipil, Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), Solo — lulus 1993.

    • Magister (S2) Teknik Pembangunan, Universitas Diponegoro (Undip), Semarang — lulus 2001 .

Karier Profesional & Birokrasi

  • Mulai berkarier di sektor konstruksi melalui PT Jaya Construction sekitar tahun 1993–1994.

  • Bekerja sebagai tenaga honorer di Departemen Pekerjaan Umum (PU) wilayah Bali dan Jawa Timur (1994–1999), selanjutnya PNS di Dinas PU Kabupaten Karanganyar (1999–2006)

Karier Politik

  • Mencalonkan diri sebagai calon Bupati Karanganyar pada 2002 (belum terpilih).

  • Anggota DPR RI dua periode:

    • 2009–2013 (Partai Demokrat).

    • 2019–2024 (Partai Gerindra), mewakili dapil Jawa Tengah III, Komisi V.

  • Aktif dalam organisasi:

    • Ketua Himpunan Mahasiswa Teknik Sipil UNS (1991).

    • Ketua Keluarga Besar Marhaenis (2000).

    • Wakil Ketua Persatuan Insinyur Indonesia (2001).

    • Koordinator tim sukses pilkada dan pilgub, serta anggota dewan penasehat Fokerdesi .

  • Bergabung dengan Partai Gerindra sejak sekitar 2013.

  • Dilantik sebagai Bupati Pati periode 2025–2030 pada 20 Februari 2025, bersama Wakil Bupati Risma Ardhi Chandra.
