Taekwondo Pengcab Kabupaten Tangerang mengadakan ujian kenaikan tingkat periode 3 tahun 2023 yang bertempat di Gedung Olahraga (GOR) Kecamatan Pasar Kemis Kabupaten Tangerang pada hari minggu (19/11/2023). Ujian ini di ikuti oleh berbagai club Taekwondo yang berada  di Kabupaten Tangerang

Ketua Bidang Ujian Kenaikan Tingkat (UKT) Taekwondo tingkat Kabupaten Tangerang, Master M. Suyudi mengatakan, kegiatan ujian kenaikan tingkat sabuk ini diikuti oleh sekitar 33 club Taekwondo se Kabupaten Tangerang yang seluruhnya berjumlah 1.300 Taekwondoin. Dalan ujian ini para peserta diuji kemampuannya aesuai dengan tingkatan sabuk yang di miliki para peserta diantanya adalah  teknik tendangan atau dalam Taelwondo di sebut Chagi, Pukulan atau Cirugi,pertahanan dan serangan,” tutur Suyudi kepada Media disela acara, Minggu (19/11/2023).

Menurutnya kegiatan UKT Taekwondo tersebut, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi, prestasi bagi para Taekwondoin di Kabupaten Tangerang, disamping itu juga untuk mencari bibit- bibit atlit dan selanjutnya akan di bina dan di olah kemampuanya untuk menjadi atlit Taekwondo handal baik tingkat Kabupaten, Provinsi maupun tingkat Nasional.

Kegiatan ini juga memberikan nilai positif bagi para peserta dalam pendidikan, memberikan nilai tambah bagi siswa dari SD, SMP hingga SMA. M Suyudi mengatakan” Kami mendatangkan delapan penguji dan tujuh asisten penguji yang telah memiliki lisensi penguji nasional dalam melakukan pengujian para peserta,” .

Sementara itu, Ketua Harian Taekwondo Pengurus Kabupaten Tangerang, Sangki Wahyudin mengatakan, agenda UKT Taekwondo tersebut merupakan agenda yang rutin dilakukan pengurus Taekwondo Kabupaten Tangerang setiap tahunnya, dalam setahun akan ada 3 kali ujian kenaikan tingkat .

“Kami sangat bangga karena antusiasme peserta untuk mengikuti ujian kenaikan sabuk ini sangat tinggi. Ini terbukti, ada sebanyak 33 club mengirimkan Taekwondoin nya untuk mengikuti uji kemampuan yang dimilikinya selama latihan di unit masing2. Jumlah tidak lumayan banyak yaitu 1300 peserta yang mengikuti ujian kenaikan tingkat,” tutur Sangki. Beliau juga menjelaskan, UKT Taekwondo di Kabupaten Tangerang dilaksanakan tiga kali dalam setahun dan yang kali ini merupakan periode terakhir di tahun 2023. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mencari bibit-bibit atlit Taekwondo di tingkat Kabupaten Tangerang.

“Kami berharap melalui UKT yang dilaksanakan secara rutin ini, bisa melahirkan generasi-generasi atlit Taekwondo yang mumpuni dan handal dan berprestasi dengan begitu bisa membawa nama baik daerah melalui event tingkat daerah maupun nasional dan bahkan internasional,” tuturnya.
