Dilansir dari halaman resmi maritim.go.id, luhut memberikan penjelasan berkaitan dengan PPKM Level 3 akan dibuat lebih seimbang dan tidak akan menyamaratakan di semua wilayah. Hal ini di lakukan berdasarkan pertimbangan riwayat penanganan Pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia menunjukkan perbaikan yang signifikan dan terkendali pada tingkat yang terendah.
Berdasarkan catatan indonesia berhasil menekan tingkat kasus konfirmasi Covid-19 dengan stabil di bawah angka 400 kasus setiap harinya. Sementara untuk Kasus aktif dan jumlah yang dirawat di Rumah Sakit menggambarkan tren penurunan dalam beberapa hari belakang ini,” menurutnya.
Adanya Perbaikan penanganan Pandemi Covid-19 dapat dilihat dari tingkat perubahan level PPKM di kabupaten dan kota di propinsi Jawa dan Bali. Berdasar assessmen yang di lakukan pertanggal 4 Desember 2021, jumlah kabupaten dan kota yang tersisa pada level 3 hanya berjumlah 9,4 persen dari total kabupaten dan kota di propinsi Jawa dan Bali atau hanya berjumlah 12 kabupaten dan kota saja.
