Di akhir tahun tepatnya malam pergantian tahun baru 2019 seperti biasa selalu di ramaikan dengan berbagai macam hiburwn dalam rangka menyambut perayaan ini.Tak ketinggalan juga seperti di yogyakarta tepatnya jalan malioboro dalam rangka memperingati malam pergantian tahun selalu di ramaikan dengan beberapa pertunjukan diantaranya campursari,wayang kulit dan hiburan2 lainya.Malioboro merupakan tujuan belanja yang biasanya di kunjungi oleh turis lokal maupun luar negeri.

namun di malam pergantian tahun ini para pengunjung tumpah ruah di jalan malioboro,mereka sengaja datang dari daerah bahkan banyak yang sengaja mengambil cuti kerja dan menghabiskan waktu malam pergantiwn tahun di jalan malioboro ini.
