Kejuaraan Taekwondo Prabu 8, yang diselenggarakan pada tanggal 3-5 Januari 2025, menjadi salah satu ajang yang ditunggu-tunggu oleh para atlet taekwondo di Indonesia. Acara yang diadakan di Indoor Stadium Kelapa Dua ini bukan hanya menjadi wadah bagi para atlet untuk menguji kemampuan mereka, tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai sarana untuk mempererat tali persaudaraan antar sesama penggemar taekwondo.

Stadion Benteng Taruna dipilih sebagai lokasi yang strategis, dengan fasilitas yang memadai untuk acara skala besar, serta kapasitas penonton yang cukup banyak. Suasana yang penuh semangat terlihat dari awal kedatangan peserta yang datang dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia.Kejuaraan Taekwondo antar Club tingkat Nasional yang telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 3-5 Januari 2024 di Indoor Stadion Sport Center Kelapa Dua, Kabupaten Tangerang ini diikuti kurang lebih oleh 16 Provinsi

Kejuaraan ini diikuti oleh Ribuan atlet dari berbagai kategori usia dan tingkat keahlian, mulai dari tingkat pemula hingga Prestasi. Para peserta datang dari klub-klub taekwondo yang tersebar di berbagai kota besar di Indonesia. Masing-masing peserta menunjukkan semangat juang yang tinggi, bersaing secara sehat dalam berbagai kategori yang dipertandingkan, baik dalam bentuk kyorugi maupun poomsae

Salah satu Club yang ikut di kejuaraan prabu yaitu Garuda Club Dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 330 orang yang terdiri dari tiga tim – Garuda A dan B dengan 233 orang, serta Garuda 3 dengan 97 orang – Garuda Club tampil luar biasa dan meraih berbagai penghargaan.

Keikutsertaan Garuda Club dalam kejuaraan ini membuahkan hasil yang sangat membanggakan. Berikut adalah beberapa prestasi yang berhasil diraih oleh para atlet Garuda Club:

  • Juara Umum 1 Over All Kategori Pemula
    Garuda Club berhasil meraih Juara Umum 1 di kategori Pemula, yang menjadi pencapaian luar biasa mengingat tingkat persaingan yang ketat di kategori ini. Para atlet muda dari Garuda Club menunjukkan kemampuan dan ketangkasan yang luar biasa.

  • Juara Umum 1 Kategori SD (Pracadet)
    Di kategori SD, Garuda Club juga meraih Juara Umum 1 untuk kelompok Pracadet. Ini adalah sebuah pengakuan atas pembinaan yang baik bagi atlet muda yang menunjukkan potensi besar dalam dunia taekwondo.

    Penghargaan Tim Terfavorit juga berhasil diraih oleh Garuda Club, yang menggarisbawahi kekompakan dan semangat tim yang luar biasa di sepanjang kompetisi.

  • Atlet Terbaik Putra Cadet (Ahmad Sauqi Aditya)
    Sebagai puncak prestasi, Ahmad Sauqi Aditya meraih penghargaan sebagai Atlet Terbaik Putra Cadet. Penghargaan ini layak diterima oleh Ahmad Sauqi berkat penampilannya yang konsisten dan penuh semangat sepanjang kompetisi.

Keberhasilan Garuda Club tidak lepas dari semangat dan dedikasi para pelatih dan atlet yang telah berlatih keras untuk mencapai tujuan ini.
